National Coordinators are being assigned and a package of Cornerstone Celebration resources is being developed so that any Methodist/Wesleyan Church (or group of churches) in any country will be able to hold a powerful three or four-day evangelistic preaching/teaching event any time of the year.
Each of these Cornerstone Celebrations will be focused on the four important events of “God’s Mighty Act” (the Christmas Incarnation, the Good Friday Atonement, the Easter Resurrection, and the Pentecost coming of the Holy Spirit) in worship services on Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Sunday evening. Each service will be evangelistic in nature and accompanied by Bible study and youth events, all focused on the same themes as the the primary preaching services.
Resource packets to support these missions are being produced by World Evangelism in multiple languages and will be made available in both published and digital formats. These resource packets will include detailed resources for organization and planning, leadership materials for teaching the Bible studies, activity suggestions for the youth events, and sample sermons, drama, and music suggestions for four evangelistic evening worship programs.
