EVANGELISM EMPHASIS CELEBRATIONS PLANNED FOR TEN CONSECUTIVE DAYS NEAR PENTECOST AND ALDERSGATE EVERY YEAR!
As part of the World Methodist Evangelism Emphasis, Wesleyan/Methodist congregations around the world are being urged to come together for ten consecutive days between Pentecost and Aldersgate every year for a variety of evangelistic programs and celebrations. As a celebration of "our" Holy days -- Pentecost and Aldersgate -- Wesleyan/Methodists around the world are launching Ten Days of Faith events, celebrations, and programs aimed at intensifying evangelistic outreach in their part of the world.
'TEN DAYS OF FAITH" MANUAL
A new Ten Days of Faith Manual containing more than forty ideas for local church participation has been published and is available in English from World Methodist Evangelism.
"TEN DAYS OF FAITH” DEVOTIONALS
The devotionals in The Upper Room for May-June, 2005 are all focused on the theme, “That the world may know Jesus Christ!” and most of the devotionals have been written by leaders of World Methodist Evangelism around the world.
