KEN ANDERSON NAMED REGIONAL SECRETARY FOR AUSTRALIA

At the recent meeting of the Regional Secretaries for Evangelism, Rev. Ken Anderson was introduced as the Regional Secretary of World Methodist Evangelism for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

Rev. Anderson , who serves as the Senior Minister of one of the largest Uniting Churches in Australia on the Gold Coast in Queensland, has been active in youth ministry and evangelism for many years. He has participated in all of the International Christian Youth Conferences on Evangelism, and he serves as the Program Director of these World Conferences. He is married to Patricia and they have three children and three grandchildren.

Anderson succeeds the Rev. John Mavor. Maxie Dunnam and Fox said, “We are grateful for the outstanding leadership Ken brings to this growing ministry, and we are thankful for the faithful ministry of John with World Evangelism.”
