NEW CONNECTIONS
ARE NEEDED AROUND THE WORLD TODAY.
YOUR CONGREGATION CAN BECOME A CONNECTING CONGREGATION NOW.
You can help
a new congregation spread the gospel of Christ Jesus. Your congregation
is asked to make a three-five year commitment. (Our experience confirms
that the "connection" is needed beyond the five years.)
World Methodist Evangelism will provide you with the name of the new
"connection," the name of the missionary leader, and ways
of connecting with the new congregation. You will be requested to
share your faith, prayers, correspondence, photos and stories with
your new "Connecting Congregation."
All of the financial
support from your congregation will be sent directly to World Methodist
Evangelism and designated for your specific Connecting Congregation.
These funds will then be sent semi-annually to your"Connecting
Congregation" through the Superintendent, Bishop, or Conference
to provide basic support to the congregation: clergy salary, clergy
housing, worship centers, and outreach ministries..
World Methodist
Evangelism has many requests from around the world for new "Connecting
Congregations" at this time. You are invited to join with others
through the Connecting Congregation ministry of World Methodist Evangelism.
