Wesleyan Accent – Old

We are excited to announce that our 2019-2020 Resident In Mission, Eliza Edge, has received a placement with East City Wesleyan Church in Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland is a multi-cultural city at the heart of Middle Earth with a population of 1.66 million people. The need for strong evangelistic work in this diverse and dynamic context is a key reason for Eliza’s work there.

East City Wesleyan Church was established with a vision for a new all-age multi-cultural Church in the Eastern suburbs of Auckland that would be contemporary, relevant, and cherish the Wesleyan emphases of God’s grace and holiness. East City Wesleyan’s Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Richard Waugh, is the WME Regional Secretary in the Pacific Region. Associate Pastor, Rev. Josh Bowlin, is the RIM Field Coordinator for New Zealand.
